Here’s a few answers to some common FAQS. Please do get in touch with us if you have any other enquries as we keep adding to this FAQ page.

Sorry, but we do not ship plants outside of Western Australia or ship plants overseas

Delivery Charges will be worked out when you view your shopping cart and depends on which postcode you choose. Delivery starts at $45 for local areas around Bunbury.  We personally deliver the plants and do not use Australia Post as they don’t ship large objects such as plants in pots. As delivery is done in-house, the charge is a fixed cost. In other words, we offer it as a service ‘at cost’  (ie no profit margin made on deliveries) We usually schedule deliveries once orders are collated, or if we’re heading to your area.  Scroll down just a bit until you find the Calculate Shipping Link. Just type in your postcode and you’ll see the delivery fee added to cart.  If your postcode does not show up, or you get a silly delivery price show up, please do get in touch with us as we may be able to organise a third party courier. You also have the option to pick up your plants here at the Nursery. 

We accept Direct Bank Deposit, and Paypal. If you choose Direct Deposit, allow a couple of days for payment to clear before items are delivered or picked up from Nursery. If you choose Paypal, either sign in using your Paypal login details or alternatively, you can use your Visa or Mastercard through Paypal, without creating a Paypal account.

We accept cash and have an eftpos facility that accepts Visa and Mastercard.

The most economical way to purchase plants is to pick up from our Nursery.  If we can squeeze in a delivery, let us know what you are wanting and we can let you know an ETA and delivery fees. We do get up to Perth at least once a month generally, and sometimes down south to Margaret River.  Once your order has been placed, we will then email you to let you know when your plants will be delivered. Please allow up to 14 days for stock to be delivered, although we aim to deliver a lot quicker than this. It depends on what areas we are delivering to during the week as we collate orders for different areas. If you have paid for delivery and wish to pick up your stock instead, just get in touch and we’ll refund your delivery fee.

Your personal details will remain in-house here at Lakeside Nursery. We do not share your information. Your data is protected by Paypal. Here is a link to info on their Security Policies.

Upon ordering, You will receive an order receipt via the email address you have supplied at the checkout. We will then email you with further details on when you can expect delivery. You are welcome to get in touch with us via phone or email to discuss your order. If items are out of stock or not up to quality to be delivered, we will notify you and offer you an alternative, try to source more of the same or give you a refund

If you require a Tax Invoice, please let us know via email after your order receipt is received and we’ll email if to you.
