Avondale Redbud or Chinese Redbud – Cercis chinensis 

This is a small, deciduous upright tree only growing 3m x 2m. Would suit a smaller yard perfectly. You will love the masses of tiny bright pink pea-shaped flowers that emerge in Spring time, followed by gorgeous heart shaped leaves.  Golden Autumn Colours

Prune inner branches as Redbuds  are a multi-stemmed  tree and this will give them a nice shape

Full sun . Part shade is ok too. Well composted, improved soil that is free draining is best
