Gleditsia triacanthos Shademaster

Shademaster is a medium tree that grows quite vigorously to around 10-12m. Great for filtered shade. It’s a graceful looking tree with pendulous branches with lush green, fern like foliage that turns yellow in Autumn.

Gleditsia is a pretty tough tree that can handle a wide variety of soils – is moderately drought tolerant, as well as wet feet tolerant. Ideally, you’ll have well composted soil that is free draining and you’ll get a good result from this beautiful tree. This Gleditsia is thornless.
