A heavy cropper, Bing is a favourite cherry – and is the cherry that is mostly grown commercially in the USA , and the rest of the world. Bing is a sweet cherry – semi freestone, firm, meaty flesh, rich burgundy, plum, red colour.
Requires chill of 700-800 hrs below 7c in Winter followed by warm Spring. Bing is a larger cherry tree- grows up to 10m x 6m
