Tupelo Tree

Nyssa Sylvatica –

Tupelo Tree is a medium sized , deciduous tree that will grow around 8m/10m x 5m . It has a straight trunk, with extending branches starting of more cone like in shape eventually rounding off.   Foliage emerges green and changes to purples and then deep red in Autumn

Tupelo Trees will grow best in soil that is improved with compost.

It will tolerate seasonal wet soils

Beautiful specimen, or shade tree. It starts off with a pyramid shape and gets rounder with age – sounds a bit like us humans really :P
