Mandarin Imperial
Popular, easy-peeling sweet and juicy mandarin with few seeds. Imperial is a small citrus tree that grows to around 3m. It’s a small citrus tree, and is ideal for a pot or in the ground.
Plant a few close together to create a fruiting hedge, train as an espalier or prune to a lollipop shape.
Make sure your soil is enriched with compost and is free draining – use a high quality potting mix if planting in a pot. Citrus are heavy feeders and require regular fertilizing in the warmer months for good growth and fruit production.
