Orange Seville Citrus aurantium
Also called Bitter Orange, or Sour Orange. This orange is used for Marmalade. Has a higher pectin level than sweet oranges. Seville Oranges are used for culinary purposes in many French recipes to give a more ‘órange’ flavour in the dish. Used for this reasons in compotes, and orange flavoured liqueurs.

Hardy, Good growing, vigorous tree – tolerates frost more than other citrus. Grows into a beautiful tree with dark evergreen leaves and bountiful with fruit. Citrus blossoms are richly scented.
Grow as an ornamental tree – dark green and evergreen, it’ll make a beautiful tree in the ground or in a pot. The citrus blossom is richer than other orange blossoms.
