Gorgeous, small citrus tree is the ultimate at multi-tasking – looking pretty as well as producing small, olive shaped, orange mini-fruits with sweet skin and tangy flesh. Pick one and pop straight into your mouth, skin and all, then delight in the combination of sweet and tangy flavours – very refreshing.
Kumquat Nagami is slower growing reaching 2.5 and can get to around 4m. It loves our hot summers, but is also quite cold tolerant. It’s a small tree, so it’s great for pots.
Make sure your soil is enriched with compost and is free draining – use a high quality potting mix if planting in a pot. Citrus are heavy feeders and require regular fertilising for good growth and fruit production.
