Hibbertia Scandens Snake Vine or Guinea Vine
Big, bright yellow flowers, and quick growing tendrils, Hibbertia scandens makes a great rambling groundcover or climbing plant that’ll cover up any structure or fence. ( love this used as a groundcover – let it grow to cover the ground, then when it gets unruly, clip it back – you can even hedge it into shape.) Â Very hardy, Hibbertia scandens can grow in full coastal conditions, and is often found rambling along coastal sand dunes.
Best grown in full sun, but will also grow very happily in the semi-shade – shady areas. Tolerates frost.
