Lemon Eureka – citrus limon

Lemon Eureka is a very hardy, productive, fast growing tree that performs quite well in most areas. Growing  to 4m if left unpruned. The lemons are traditionally sour and quite large – the kind you often find at the market. Eureka is quite a prolific bearer, and you’ll tend to  have lemons year round with this tree.  We find these are a good tree to train as an espalier, as they’re quick to produce vigorous new shoots.

As with all citrus, make sure your soil is improved with soil conditioner/compost and ensure adequate drainage. If planting in a pot, make sure you use a top quality potting mix.
