Citrus tangelo
Charming bright reddish- orange, bell shaped fruit is a delicious treat in winter time – is actually a cross between a grapefruit and a tangerine! The fruit is quite large, sweet and juicy with a thin skin and little seeds. This tree will grow around 3-4m.
Tangelos like to be planted in full sun in free draining, improved soil with lots of nutrients. Feed regularly with a quality fertiliser.
Minneola is similar to Seminole, but is virtually seedless, and has a different nipple-like shape at one end
