Acer buergerianum / trifidum

A small – medium sized deciduous tree with bronze foliage in Spring, followed by lush green foliage until Autumn, where it  turns orangey/yellow red. Foliage is three lobed – an interesting ivy shape. As the tree matures, the bark develops beautiful colours of orangey brown with a peeling, flaking habit.

Trident Maple grows approx 6-10m  x 6m.

Makes a lovely shade tree with dense foliage. Grow in full sun in well drained soil. Moderately drought tolerant and wet feet tolerant.
