Ctenanthe Amagris  or Prayer Plant

This charming little plant has a couple of features to make it interesting – Starting off with its cute little fishbone like pattern and contrasting with the reddish, purpley underside. Amagris is a low growing, groundcover type plant, that kind of pop upwards so you can see the red underside. This often happens when it needs a bit of a drink and also at night, where it gets the name ‘Prayer Plant’

Looks great in a shady spot of the garden, or indoors in a cute pot. A good beginner Indoor plant.
