Plum Santa Rosa

Plum Santa Rosa is a juicy, yellow flesh plum was bred in California for its deep plummy flavour, gorgeous purpley colour and perfect eating size.  The fruit deepens in colour as it ripens, with a tart skin and sweet, juicy flesh.

Santa Rosa is self fertile, but will bear more fruit if another plum is close by.  It’s also a small tree, growing up to 5m in height.

Santa Rosa is often used as pollinator for many other Japanese Plum varieties. Like all fruit trees, you’ll need a nice, sunny spot with lots of improved, composted, free draining soil.
