Bare-Root Fruit Trees 2025

Bare Root Fruit Trees –

UPDATE – AS OF 12/08/25 THESE ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Cash and Carry -Collect Trees from nursery. You will need a ute or a trailer to pick these up. And something to cover them up hessian, or plastic . You will need to make sure the roots don’t desiccate every step of the way – even on planting.

Dug out of the ground only once they have gone into full dormancy, so we expect them in the nursery starting June and July – when fully dormant. Which is the ideal time to plant them.

We will pot those we haven’t sold. We use our premium potting mix, designed to hold on to nutrient, water as well as having the air porosity to allow free drainage. This is what we use in the nursery for all of our plants and it has been designed for maximum growth. All the trees that we pot up survive.

If planting in the ground, you will need to do the same for best results. Planting mix is everything and you need to make sure your soil holds onto nutrient from fertiliser as well as holding on to water. Your ground needs to be free draining. There are soil additives you can use to promote this.

Please contact us for pick up times and any other information.

We will have a short window for pickup. Trees really do need to be potted or planted before they start waking up from dormancy.
