Lavender French

Lavender French Lavendula dentata

Lavender French is a classic long lived lavender that can withstand more humid, conditions. With origins in Spain, and growing to around 1m with a 1- 1.5 m spread. This lavender seems to flower year round and really thrives down in nursery attracting lots of pollinating insects. Great if you’re wanting to attract bees to the garden for your vegie patch and fruit trees.  Would make a lovely informal hedge.

It is also quite drought tolerant. Best to plant in a free draining soil with added compost and rockdust
